Java Programmer

Description:
Position will be primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of a custom web portal and reporting system built on the Bluenog ICE integration framework. The reports are built using BIRT (http://www.eclipse.org/birt), accessing our custom database. Position may additionally support other Java or PHP projects in the company.

Requirements:
- Java (JSP, portlets, Spring Framework, Maven, Struts, XML).
- Understanding of design patterns (MVC)
- Report generation, preferably with BIRT (http://www.eclipse.org/birt)
- Portal development
- SQL
- XML
- JavaScript
- Eclipse IDE
- PHP (preferred)
- Bachelors Degree in CS (preferred)
- Subversion (or some other version control system) * client side (preferred)

Additional helpful skills include:
- Java EE 5 (EJB 3.0, JPA, MDB)
- JBoss (Configuration and tuning, Clustering)
- Hibernate
- PostgreSQL
